About the Role

Kinetic Games is seeking a talented and experienced Unity C# Lead Programmer to contribute to the development and enhancement of Phasmophobia and future projects.

This role demands a high level of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for game development. As a key member of our team, you will be integral to the ongoing success of Phasmophobia, implementing new features, improving existing functionalities, and ensuring the game continues to deliver heart-pounding experiences.

Requirements
  1. Degree in Computer Science or related field
  2. At least 5 years of professional Unity game development experience
  3. Proven track record of developing high-quality game features and systems
  4. Strong foundation in object-oriented programming and software engineering principles
  5. Experience with development and game optimization techniques for both low and high end PC hardware
  6. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance analysis skills
  7. Familiarity with version control systems
  8. Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  9. A genuine passion for horror games
Nice to Have
  • Experience developing for consoles (Xbox Series S/X & PS5)
  • Previous experience working on multiplayer
  • Previous experience working with OpenXR/ XR Interaction Toolkit
  • Knowledge of networked game programming
