We are seeking a detail-oriented Analytical Development Scientist to join our team at Touchlight, a pioneering company in the field of cell and gene therapy.

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in testing the performance of analytical assays, supporting hands-on routine testing and characterisation testing of our products.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Testing the performance of analytical assays (QPCR, UPLC, HPLC, NGS, Enzyme activity)

Skills and Experience Required

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant life science field, demonstrating a solid foundation in scientific principles.
  • Proven ability to conduct precise and accurate analytical testing.
  • Familiarity with Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) techniques and data analysis is preferred.
  • Knowledge of QPCR, UPLC, and HPLC is preferred.
  • Understanding and application of enzyme assay techniques a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
  • Strong communication skills to effectively document findings and engage with team members and clients.

Earnings Estimate

The estimated salary range for this position is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
