About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sports Presentation and AV Engineer to join our team at Brentford Football Club. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic and progressive organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain our sports presentation technology infrastructure, including NewTek NDI, Dante, vMix, 3Play, and Blackmagic Design live production switches.
  • Evaluate and review the performance, functionality, and suitability of existing technologies, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the implementation process, ensuring seamless integration with our conference and events business.
  • Train relevant staff members on the proper use and maintenance of upgraded sports presentation technology.
  • Create a process-driven approach to AV support for our conference and events business, ensuring consistency and excellence.
  • Understand the requirements of our conference and events team and assist with servicing and supporting the AV element.
  • Advise and help shape the AV operating model for the medium term, ensuring alignment with our club's values and objectives.
  • Design and set up in-house AV systems, install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment, conduct thorough testing and quality checks, and operate and manage AV equipment during conferences and events.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for additional AV equipment or technical support, maintain an inventory of AV equipment, and stay up to date with emerging AV technologies and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant club policies, including safeguarding and health and safety policies, and maintain a flexible approach to work at all times.
  • Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion at the club, and demonstrate a proven track record of experience as an AV consultant or in a similar role.
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of NewTek NDI, Dante, vMix, 3Play, and talkback radio mic systems.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, implement, and deliver on sports presentation and AV services.
  • Familiarity with sports production workflows and best practices, and a deep understanding of the requirements of our conference and events business.
