Job Title: Head of Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk Management Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Operational Resilience and Third Party Risk Management function. As a key member of our Group function, you will play a critical role in helping our customer-facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Operational Resilience Frameworks and Third Party Risk Management capabilities across the lifecycle.
  • Ensure appropriate governance, framework works, controls, tooling, and guidance to support the organisation in managing its third party risk that does not compromise operational resilience.
  • Compile Third party risks management metrics and data to inform Bupa's third party resilience position and executive board level reporting.
  • Play an active and supportive role in Bupa's Operational Resilience community to further the strategic goals.

Requirements:

  • Education to bachelor's degree Level or higher.
  • Depth of experience in working in large corporate/complex business, in Operational Resilience and third party risk management.
  • A problem-solving mindset, experienced not only at risk identification but working with the market units to influence and find solutions that improve risk management.
  • Strong understanding of Global Third party risk management regulatory requirements, with the ability to translate complex, technical reg developments in a way that resonates and engages business stakeholders.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience at running cross-functional, cross-business projects.
  • Strong data-driven approach, analytical and problem-solving skills gained within a financial, regulatory, or risk environment.
