We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Midlands, UK. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining DC power systems in various industries, including wind farms, data centers, and telecommunications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and test DC power systems, including UPS equipment, rectifiers, inverters, and switchgear.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair of DC power systems.
  • Load new software and make changes to control system settings.
  • Replace components and perform routine maintenance on DC power systems.
  • Provide on-call support via phone or computer for critical issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in servicing electrical/electronic products in the DC power industry.
  • Knowledge of UPS, rectifiers, inverters, and switchgear systems.
  • Ability to work in diverse locations, including wind farms, data centers, and telecommunications sites.
  • Flexibility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
