Job Summary:
We are seeking an Advanced Pupil Support Worker to contribute to our efforts in supporting students with Additional Support Needs (ASN). The successful candidate will work one-to-one with a young person with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to help them reach their full potential.
About the Role:
- To provide individualized support to a student with ASD, focusing on their academic and social needs.
- To collaborate with the school team to implement strategies designed to improve pupil performance in key areas such as progress in learning, personal and social development, transition support, behavior, relationships with peers and staff.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have experience working with students with ASN and be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of £24,980 - £28,412 per annum (£29,109 at point 6).
- The opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with ASN.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. Registration with the SSSC is required, and the successful candidate will have six months from the commencement date to become registered.
