About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team at ABEI ENERGY, a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) specializing in renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in leading the permitting elements for onshore renewables projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze technical reports from consultants to inform project development and permitting strategies.
  • Develop and implement project programs, including planning applications, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory consultation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
  • Engage with local authorities, statutory consultees, and public stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Environmental Impact Assessment, Environmental Consultancy, or Town Planning, or similar.
  • Bachelors degree in the above fields, depending on experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in related roles, such as Senior Planner or Senior EIA Coordinator.
  • Experience in Town and Country Planning Act planning submissions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat skills.
  • Qgis/ArcGis and Google Earth proficiency.
  • Spanish language skills a plus.
