AutoCAD Hardware Engineer

We are currently working with a leading provider of industrial automation, test and measurement, information systems, and industrial services in various industries. Their goal is to contribute to a better future for our planet by supporting the energy transition, (bio)technology, artificial intelligence, industrial cybersecurity, and more. They operate in Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, and Food & Beverage sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Assume a project delivery role and work in a project team to design and deliver new Pro-Safe hardwired safety control systems in accordance with lifecycle and engineering practices.
- Design and execute modification work scopes for existing Pro-Safe hardwired safety control systems in line with lifecycle and engineering practices.
- Occasionally, you may be required to assume a support role, attending client onshore/offshore sites to carry out maintenance, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Support the sales team by preparing sales supports for projects/modifications/renewals of support contracts.
- Develop customer awareness of safety engineering capabilities.
- Assist with Training when requested, ensuring full conversancy with the latest versions of Safety Shutdown & Distributed Control Systems.
- Recognised qualification in Electrical / Mechanical / Control Engineering or equivalent.
- BOSIET/medical certificates or willingness to undergo training upon commencement of the post.
- Experience with the maintenance of Safety Shutdown & Distributed Control Systems onshore and offshore.
- Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of relay logic and PLCs.
- Experience using AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in using Windows and Office Applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
