About the Position

We are working with a leading provider of industrial automation, test and measurement, information systems, and industrial services in various industries. Their goal is to contribute to a better future for our planet by supporting the energy transition, (bio)technology, artificial intelligence, and industrial cybersecurity.

This company operates in the Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, and Food & Beverage sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assume a project delivery role and work in a project team to design and deliver new Pro-Safe hardwired safety control systems in accordance with lifecycle and engineering practices.
  2. Design and execute modification work scopes for existing Pro-Safe hardwired safety control systems in accordance with lifecycle and engineering practices.
  3. Occasionally, you may be required to assume a support role, attending client onshore/offshore sites to carry out maintenance, installation, and commissioning activities.
  4. Support the sales team by preparing sales supports for projects/modifications/renewals of support contracts.
  5. Develop customer awareness of safety engineering capabilities.
  6. Assist with training when requested and ensure full conversancy with the latest versions of Safety Shutdown & Distributed Control Systems.
Requirements
  1. Recognised qualification in Electrical / Mechanical / Control Engineering or equivalent.
  2. BOSIET/medical certificates or prepared to undergo training on commencement of the post.
  3. Experience with the maintenance of Safety Shutdown & Distributed Control Systems onshore and offshore.
  4. Good understanding of relay logic and PLCs.
  5. Experience using AutoCAD.
  6. Proficiency in Windows and Office Applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
