About the Role:

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of heavy equipment, including diesel engines, pumps, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel engines, pumps, and HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, using advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality work and meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, trade school or equivalent training desired.
  • Previous experience with diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
  • Valid Red Seal (Heavy Duty) an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
