At Energy Job Line, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of HGVs to a high safety and performance standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and repair mechanical and electrical issues related to engines, transmissions, brake systems, and other critical components of HGVs.
  • Monitor and record vehicle performance to anticipate potential problems and schedule timely interventions.
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire checks and replacements, and fluid top-ups.
  • Use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for logging and tracking repair and maintenance activities.
  • Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
  • Capability to work in various conditions, including outdoor environments and in confined spaces.
