About the Role
As a Senior Residential Care Manager at Major Ashford Healthcare, you will be responsible for implementing and working in accordance with all aspects of the Statement of Purpose for our children's residential service. You will have a thorough understanding of the regulations and legislation which set the standards within a Children's Home setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with parents, carers, and other professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
- Support and offer supervision to staff in line with regulations, ensuring that the safeguarding of young people remains at the forefront of practice.
- Ensure that young people are consulted about the quality of care they receive.
- Lead and supervise a team within a Residential Childcare setting.
Requirements
- A Certified Diploma Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (Children and Young Peoples Workforce) or equivalent as a minimum.
- Thorough understanding of the regulations and legislation which set the standards within a Children's Home setting.
- Experience in leading and supervising a team within a Residential Childcare setting.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
