As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing prices, breaking news, and producing analytical content that provides valuable insights to our customers.
Responsibilities- Stay up-to-date on current events and trends in the chemical industry.
- Collaborate closely with other business functions at ICIS to contribute ideas related to new coverage and services.
- Cover a portfolio of petrochemical markets in Europe, providing in-depth analysis and market insights.
- Write engaging and informative news articles and market analysis, assessing prices and trends.
- Build and maintain a network of industry contacts, fostering relationships and gathering information.
- Report on complex topics in a clear and concise manner, using data visualizations to enhance understanding.
- Experience in price/commodities reporting or knowledge of chemical markets is an advantage, but not essential.
- Display a curious and inquiring mind, with a passion for markets and economics.
- Demonstrate high levels of numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with excellent writing and communication skills.
