About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our editorial team in a key role, covering developments in a portfolio of chemical markets.
Supported by our editorial and analyst teams, you will assess prices on a daily and weekly basis, break news, and produce analytical content. You will thrive on breaking exclusive news and being the first to get the intelligence out to the market, as well as investigating and explaining what this means for our customers.
You will contribute to the profile of LNRS Data Services Ltd Company by attending and speaking at industry events, engaging with and nurturing key industry contacts.
International travel is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Stay up-to-date on current events and trends in the industry.
- Collaborate closely with other business functions at LNRS Data Services Ltd Company and contribute ideas related to new coverage and services.
- Cover a portfolio of petrochemical markets in Europe.
- Write insightful, compelling news and market analysis and assess prices.
- Build and nurture an international network of industry contacts.
- Report on complex topics in an engaging and timely manner, including the use of data visualizations.
Requirements
- Experience in price/commodities reporting or knowledge of chemical markets would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Display an inquisitive mind.
- Understand or have an interest in markets and economics.
- Demonstrate a high level of numerical accuracy.
- Thrive in an ever-changing environment.
- Have excellent writing and communication skills.
