Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aeronautical Engineer to join our team as a Specialist Instructional Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality training to RAF aircraft electronic/electrical apprentices and engineers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver classroom and practical instruction on topics within the aircraft discipline and allied subjects.
  • Develop and implement training objectives that prepare students for their next career step.
  • Build course-specific training programs, prepare teaching plans, and identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
  • Create or oversee the production of instructional materials, aids, and manuals.
  • Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in Aeronautical Engineering (AE) Avionic/Electrical or Electronic/Electrical.
  • Desirable: Cert Ed or equivalent. Defence Train the Trainer courses are available for non-qualified trainers at RAF Cosford.
