Salary

We offer a competitive salary package, including a basic salary of £28,550 and a location allowance of £3,500, making the estimated annual salary approximately £44,000 OTE.

Job Description

As a Roadside Rescue Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be to respond to calls for assistance, diagnose and repair issues with vehicles, and provide exceptional customer service. You will work independently, as well as collaboratively with other team members, to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of care.

  • You will communicate effectively with customers, explaining complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • You will be responsible for learning and developing your skills through ongoing training and support, ensuring that you remain up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • You will work in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency situations and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • You will be a self-starter, able to work independently and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of NVQ 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience.
  • A full category B driving licence with no more than 6 points.
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
