Job Title: Technical Doors Sales Estimator

JP Corry is seeking a skilled Technical Doors Sales Estimator to join our team in Belfast. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical support on certification for projects and compliance while developing new and existing relationships with customers and our branch network to increase sales of our growing doors category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical knowledge on door applications to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Engage with new and existing customers and suppliers to expand our product offering
  • Ensure a seamless sales process from ordering through to the scheduling of materials
  • Build strong relationships with our branch network and customer base to achieve our products specification
  • Continuously improve technical knowledge in relation to changing market, regulations, new solutions, new products and suppliers
  • Actively seek and develop innovative new product and service opportunities
  • Support JP Corry's external and internal sales teams to ensure our customers' needs are met
  • Produce regular reports on activity and results

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in an estimating role, ideally within construction industry or similar
  • Previous experience of prospecting and generating sales opportunities
  • Knowledge of current certification relating to all fire door specification
  • Knowledge of contract procedures, material supply chains and systems, ideally within construction industry or similar
  • Networking and maintaining relationships, comes naturally
  • Adaptable with the ability to learn and apply new ways of working with technical concepts
