Principal Piping Engineer Opportunity

Global E&C is seeking a highly skilled Principal Piping Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality piping engineering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical input into tenders and proposals, ensuring that our engineering services meet the highest standards.
  • Lead the execution of piping engineering activities, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, providing regular progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and codes, and represent the piping discipline in safety and design reviews.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Lead Engineer/Designer and Head of Piping & Mechanical, highlighting issues and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a UK Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate engineering subject.
  • Sound technical background and expertise in piping engineering.
  • Experience in selecting applicable codes, practices, standards, and statutory documentation.
  • Competency in all aspects of discipline design, including multi-discipline, and the use of analytical methods.
  • Competency in quality control and engineering procedures.
