Tax Advisory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Manager to join our team at BDO UK. As a key member of our Corporate Tax practice, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and solutions to our clients.
As a Tax Advisory Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing tax compliance and advisory services, and working closely with our clients to understand their business needs and goals.
You will also be involved in special assignments and will be expected to take full responsibility for project delivery on your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, including control of billings and cash collection within the firm's criteria
- Ensure that the firm's quality control procedures are adhered to, including second partner review
- Identify risk and technical matters, as well as selling opportunities, to the Partner/Senior Manager/Manager, whilst exercising judgement within agreed parameters
- Provide training to more junior staff on the job and through monitoring performance, whilst consistently providing feedback
- Recognise business development opportunities and inform and work with the Partner and the client to develop these when they arise
- Consult with colleagues and Partners on technical and risk matters
- Lead projects of limited scale or complexity
