We are seeking an experienced and passionate nurse practitioner to lead our Chemotherapy Day Unit team in providing exceptional patient-centred care. As a key member of the Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) service, you will practice under the supervision of an advanced practitioner and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure safe and high-quality care for patients.

With a proven track record in clinical leadership and a passion for working within the field of chemotherapy, you will have responsibility for supporting the ongoing development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service. This includes developing policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines in collaboration with colleagues, as well as acting as a specialized role model and leader for all staff members.

About the Role

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £62,000 - £83,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, life assurance, and annual leave. You will also have opportunities for professional development and continuing education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centred clinical care, encompassing and developing the skills of advanced clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment within an agreed scope of practice.
  • Support the ongoing development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service, including the development of policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
  • Act as a specialized role model and leader for all members of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
