Automotive Software Engineer

Job Summary

Talos Automation is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in delivering customer software solutions in-house and at the customer's site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering software solutions that meet the needs of our automotive client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define software requirements and develop applications within an agile environment
  • Conduct code reviews, testing, and other activities within the complete SDLC
  • Work with multiple third-party SCADA implementations and systems that collect time, date, temperature, paint viscosity data, and more
  • Develop code from scratch and work with templates of projects already delivered

Requirements

  • Education in the field of IT, software, or computer science
  • Proven background in software engineering or software development, ideally in a factory or machinery automation environment
  • Working knowledge and industrial experience of C# and.Net languages
  • Exposure to low-level programming (PLC - Siemens and/or Beckhoff) and SCADA would be advantageous
  • Willingness to travel circa 10% for debugging phase
