Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Trainee Dispenser, working towards delivering exceptional patient care and support. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, working towards delivering technical aspects of the dispensary, and contributing to efficient dispensary operations.

Responsibilities
  • Providing advice and support to patients, ensuring they leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  • Working towards delivering technical aspects of the dispensary, including ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collection of prescriptions.
  • Complying with legal and professional requirements, as well as accepted guidance on professional practice in Boots.
  • Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
  • Contributing to efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of pharmacy services and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • A willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • A genuine passion for customer care and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and development, including working towards an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services.
What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary of £12.00 - £13.15 per hour, depending on location. Our benefits package includes a range of perks, such as a holiday allowance, pension scheme, discretionary annual bonus, and flexible working patterns.
