About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Bath, Somerset. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to drive business growth and profitability
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement business strategies
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
Requirements
We are looking for a qualified accountant with a strong background in financial management and leadership. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment, is highly desirable.
