About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our client's sales department. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing prospects, working with individual customers to understand their needs, and guiding them towards the most appropriate product.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate the most suitable options to the customer, understanding and adapting to their buying strategy, and encouraging them to experience the product through test drives.
  2. Agree the price and payment method and any finance arrangements with the customer direct, working within company guidelines.
  3. Participate in training and development opportunities to assist the Group in achieving its aims and objectives.
  4. Liaise with Sales Administration to ensure product availability fits with customer's expectations, placing the order, updating customer records, and scheduling any complementary services/additional work to be completed on the vehicle before the delivery date.
  5. Ensure that each delivery is followed up with a personal call to check the customer is happy. Maintain contact with customers to build relationships and future business.
  6. Plan and organize own daily selling activity, for example, by telephoning sales prospects (previous/existing customers or general enquiries) to obtain new business.
  7. Work with colleagues and other teams across the dealership to provide a seamless service to customers.
Requirements
  1. Able to plan, organize self, and meet agreed work deadlines.
  2. Able to assimilate information quickly and provide considered responses.
  3. Strong work ethic and adaptable to change.
  4. Attention to detail and maintains good, accurate quality of work.
  5. Ability to work to tight deadlines to achieve the business needs.
  6. Able to react positively to organizational and market changes.
  7. PC, Microsoft, and web literate.
