Team Manager - Living in Care Home Review Team

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a pioneering recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Team Manager to join the Living in Care Home Review Team on a permanent, full-time basis in Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically manage workload, allocate tasks, and review progress to ensure priorities are met, shortfalls are identified, and services are delivered within capacity and in line with departmental and partnership policies and procedures.
  • Develop and provide concise, informative written and verbal reports based on analysis of complex evidence.
  • Collaborate with local partners to ensure integrated service delivery by developing responses to need with key organizations providing services.
  • Take a professional lead on safeguarding, providing expert knowledge of safeguarding processes, policy, and case law.
  • Offer advice and guidance on case management and effective risk management of complex situations, understanding when to take positive risks as appropriate.
  • Utilize management information to inform business decisions and monitor team performance.
  • Provide regular line management and practice supervision to direct reports, ensuring relevant training needs are met. Lead on the management of escalated employee relations matters at formal stages, ensuring these are addressed in a timely and appropriate manner, seeking advice as necessary.
  • Promote and develop service user empowerment, recognizing diversity and anti-discriminatory practice in all professional practice across the service.
  • Manage the delivery of high-quality, effective integrated specialist health and social care services to respond to the needs of service users and their families in a timely manner within statutory guidelines or service specifications.
  • Work with local partners to ensure the management and delivery of specialist health provision.
