Support Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point, supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities in a 24-hour supported living facility in Birchington. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the daily living skills of our residents, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall well-being.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Promoting the independence of our residents through tailored support and guidance
- Supporting a range of daily activities, including cleaning, cooking, and days out
- Developing and implementing plans to enhance residents' life skills and personal interests
- Assisting with personal care needs and ensuring the safety and health of our residents
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service monitoring requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need to be passionate, caring, and enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and the ability to demonstrate patience and flexibility. While knowledge of learning disabilities and complex needs is beneficial, it is not essential. What is essential is that you are a great team player with a strong commitment to supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities.
