Job Description
We are seeking a talented Senior Engineer to join our team at Queens University's AMIC. In this role, you will apply your expertise in design automation to develop innovative methods and processes, automate design tasks, and integrate manufacturing and materials data into design tools. Your primary focus will be on collaborating on a research programme called Re-Imagining Engineering Design (RIED), where you will work with a team, industry partners, technology providers, and academia to advance smart design automation technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you must possess an undergraduate degree or equivalent in computing, engineering, or a related field, along with significant relevant industrial experience. Alternatively, a minimum HND in a related discipline with extensive recent and relevant industrial experience is also acceptable. You should have hands-on experience with CAD and/or FE analysis solutions, as well as knowledge of Industrial Digital Technologies related to smart design. Strong communication and project management skills are essential, with the ability to work effectively in multifaceted environments and deliver results within deadlines and budget.
