As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out clinical support tasks, infection control measures, and restocking medical supplies. Your duties will include:
  • Venepuncture
  • Removal of sutures & clips
  • ECGs
  • Spirometry
  • Urine testing
  • Blood pressure measurement and monitoring
  • Follow up dressings
  • Teaching patients how to use home blood pressure machines
  • Assisting with minor surgery procedures including dermatology, IUD insertion and removal, and minor ops.

Your other responsibilities will include teaching inhaler technique, assisting with annual diabetic reviews, and promoting health awareness among patients. You will also be responsible for computerizing letters and notes, performing stock checks, and reporting temperature variations.
