Job Title: EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in the EYFS department at a school in Greenwich. The successful candidate will support pupils with Special Educational Needs and work closely with the teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs in the EYFS department
  • Work closely with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Provide one-to-one support to pupils as needed
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or 3)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous EYFS experience
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Current DBS registration or willingness to apply for a new one
