Test Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team at Marks Sattin (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans to identify and report defects in our software applications.
  • Test Automation: Design and implement automated testing frameworks to improve test efficiency and reduce manual testing efforts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and project management, to ensure seamless testing and delivery.
  • Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects to resolution, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and procedures to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in testing.NET applications using manual and automation techniques, with strong technical skills in testing APIs and databases.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working on Agile Scrum and Kanban projects, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Tools and Technologies: Familiarity with Oracle DB, NUnit, and Xunit frameworks, as well as experience with multi-tier systems and integration testing.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
