This is a full-time position that involves working amongst the student cohort flexibly. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and a passion for helping children with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
  • Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
  • Providing pastoral care and support to pupils with ASD.
  • Helping to create a positive learning environment.
  • Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources.
  • Liaising with parents and carers.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • A positive and proactive attitude.
  • DBS check (within one year or on the update service) - or willing to apply for a DBS check.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £85-£95 per day, which includes 12.07% statutory holiday pay. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.

This is a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
