Key Responsibilities- Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
- Working with pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Providing pastoral care and support to pupils with ASD.
- Helping to create a positive learning environment.
- Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources.
- Liaising with parents and carers.
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- DBS check (within one year or on the update service) - or willing to apply for a DBS check.
The salary for this role is £85-£95 per day, which includes 12.07% statutory holiday pay. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
This is a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
