This part-time role consists of 18 hours a week. This can be split across the working week and will be located at our offices in Redbourn, St Albans.
The key purpose of the role is to support the fire safety manager in the delivery of great fire safety products. This includes coordinating the fire safety inspection teams and assessors and undertaking administration duties including quality control (proofreading) and diary management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Managing Excel spreadsheets and other computer systems.
- Validation and proofing of fire safety documents and reports to be sent to clients (non-technical proofing - spelling and grammar).
- Diary management for fire risk assessment teams and inspection teams. Client communications and booking management for planned inspections.
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
**Experience**:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role, experience with proofreading technical documents
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
