Vehicle Appraiser

Job Overview:

Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Appraiser to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the valuation and settlement of vehicles deemed beyond economical repair or stolen and unrecovered.

Salary and Benefits:

We are offering a competitive salary range of £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of motor vehicles and/or insurance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to determine the correct market position for the vehicle
• Utilize vehicle valuation guides and extensive market research to ensure accurate claims settlement
• Engage with customers to establish a fair market value for the vehicle

Requirements:

• General knowledge of motor vehicles and/or insurance practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Self-motivated and positive attitude
• Ability to work in a busy atmosphere
