We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Evening Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As an Evening Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their end-of-day routines, enabling them to remain happy, healthy, and independent in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medication and assist with personal care needs
- Prepare meals and snacks to meet clients' dietary requirements
- Support clients with daily living activities, such as bathing and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.75 during the week and £13.75 on weekends
- Paid travel time at £10.50 per hour
- Paid training and development opportunities
- Bank Holiday pay rate of £25.50 per hour
- Paid mileage at 35p-45p per mile
- Paid Enhanced DBS prior to joining
- Paid holiday and performance-related cash rewards
- Support from a mentor and access to our Employee Assistance Programme
- Aged 18 or over
- Availability to work an alternate weekend
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (ideal)
