ZEDRA Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Managing Director to lead our Isle of Man business. As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Isle of Man business.

Your primary focus will be on steering the organisation to achieve its strategic goals, while maintaining a strong emphasis on people leadership and delivering consistently high levels of client experience.

You will also be responsible for:

  1. Agreeing overall business strategy with the ZEDRA Group and driving the business to achieve set targets
  2. Leading the ZEDRA Isle of Man teams to deliver exceptional financial performance through strong people leadership, sound risk management, operational excellence, and first-class client service
  3. Ensuring successful implementation of mergers and acquisitions
  4. Nurturing a positive relationship between ZEDRA Isle of Man, the regulator, and other relevant authorities
  5. Nurturing a positive compliance culture within the business
  6. Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance
  7. Overseeing the team's successful completion of client deliverables and achievement of quarterly targets across the client portfolio
  8. Managing talent activities (including recruitment, retention, upskilling, career progression) to optimise team performance
  9. Participating in team building initiatives, mentoring, and coaching senior team members to take the lead on key initiatives
  10. Implementing client-focused strategies to enhance the overall client experience
  11. Building and maintaining excellent relationships with clients
  12. Encouraging and overseeing the gathering of client feedback to continuously improve services and client satisfaction
  13. Supporting senior management in enhancing relationships with key intermediaries and clients
  14. Collaborating closely with service delivery teams to identify new opportunities for business growth and driving value for the client

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Detailed technical knowledge of Anti Money Laundering, Countering the Financing of Terrorism, and all related financial crime legislation, codes, and regulatory guidance as well as industry best practice
  2. An excellent working knowledge of funds and investment services businesses, local trust and company laws, and regulation
  3. Extensive wealth planning, corporate, and fund services experience with significant expertise in technical company and fiduciary matters
  4. A proven track record of managing an office and dealing with high net worth individuals and their advisors
  5. A client-centric approach – commitment to understanding and meeting client needs
  6. Leadership: proven track record of leading teams and driving organisational success

Salary Range: £100,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience
