SENDhelp Limited is seeking a qualified and passionate SEN PE Teacher to join our team in Ealing Primary School. As an SEN PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering physical education to students with special educational needs, providing them with opportunities to develop physical skills, confidence, and a love for movement.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver PE lessons that are adapted to the individual needs and abilities of students with special educational needs.
Promote physical activity and well-being among students, encouraging participation in a variety of sports and exercises.
Work closely with support staff and other professionals to ensure that each student's physical and emotional needs are met.
Create a safe and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and motivated to participate in physical activities.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Proven experience as a PE Teacher, ideally within an SEN setting.
Strong understanding of adapting PE lessons to meet the needs of students with disabilities and special educational needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, essential for success as an SEN PE Teacher.
