Red Recruit Ltd is seeking a skilled Fine Art Technician to join their team in Berkshire. As a Fine Art Technician, you will be responsible for packing and securely loading fine art into trucks, ensuring safe transport.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Pack artwork using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
  • Operate various lifting equipment to handle and transport fine art.
  • Drive company vehicles, transporting fine art to galleries, museums, and private collections while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, curators, and team members to coordinate transportation logistics and address special handling requirements.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, including inventory lists, condition reports, and shipping documentation.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices when handling, packing, and transporting artwork.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in fine art packing, handling, transporting, and installing, or experience within the removals industry. A valid driver's license, good physical fitness, and the ability to lift heavy objects are essential.

Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
