Caretaker - Mobile Relief

We are working closely with a Local Authority in Islington to assist with the appointment of a Caretaker - Mobile Relief, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £15.86 - £20.92 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Estate Services Co-ordinator (ESC) and also the Quality Assurance Officer who assists the ESC in caretaker management. Liaising with Management and Staff at the Area Office.
  • To provide relief caretaking duties on various estates across all areas, as directed by managers, often at short notice.
  • To work with other caretaking staff to carry out tasks identified by supervisors or managers, on various estates.
  • To assist managers or supervisors in the distribution of stores & equipment, including loading and unloading estate services vehicles.
  • The completion of daily management control information and other documentation as required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate a reasonable standard of literacy and numeracy when supplying brief reports on the background action taken in respect of any emergencies or unusual occurrences.
  • Some experience of cleaning or caretaker duties.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
