We are seeking a highly skilled Highways Maintenance Operative to join our team in Buckley. As a key member of our department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth maintenance of local roads and highways.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various tasks including replacing kerbs, filling potholes, slurry sealing, and small construction works. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in laying tarmac to take their career to the next level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laying tarmac and other road surfacing materials
  • Replacing kerbs and other highway infrastructure
  • Filling potholes and other road defects
  • Participating in slurry sealing operations
  • Undertaking small construction works as required
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a full driving licence and experience of working with heavy machinery. You should also be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £12.18 per hour, paid 4 days a week. The hours of work are from 7.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
