About the Job

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the water industry? As a Wastewater Operations Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our sewerage network and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the Network Manager in managing network assets, resolving customer-related issues, and developing and maintaining strong regulatory relationships. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, and ensure that all activities are carried out in line with health and safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing network assets to ensure they are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Resolving customer-related issues with regards to the sewerage network, taking ownership and resolving to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Liaising with asset strategy, local asset management, and capital delivery teams to ensure risks are identified, understood, and solutions developed.
  • Developing and maintaining strong regulatory relationships with external stakeholders.


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum HNC qualification in Civil Engineering or be working towards it. You must also possess a full and valid driving license and have experience gained through understanding of wastewater service delivery working within high-performance teams. Additionally, you should be able to think strategically while ensuring effective day-to-day delivery of services. Our ideal candidate will be computer literate, with experience of Windows applications and SAP, and have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
