Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Paediatric Speech and Language Therapy Assistant Practitioner to join our team on a part-time bank basis. As a key member of our Speech and Language Therapy Team, you will provide support to pre-school and school-aged children with a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage caseload independently, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of services.
  • Maintain close liaison with Mainstream Nurseries, Primary Schools, Primary Care Teams, and Speech and Language Therapists to provide integrated and relevant care packages.
  • Provide training, direct and indirect support to Nurseries, Schools, and Health Professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children.

Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent
  • Care Certificate
  • Experience in Speech and Language Therapy Assistant role
  • IT literacy
  • Driving license and access to own transport
