Senior Accountant Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Heels & Brogues Group Limited. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing client portfolios, preparing financial statements, and providing financial assessments and tax planning advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships and ensure accurate and compliant financial records.
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other reports in accordance with regulations.
  • Provide financial assessments, tax planning, and strategic advice to clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with UK tax laws and regulations to ensure client compliance.
  • Assist with accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, with a focus on charity and trust accounting.
  • Enhance accounting processes and systems for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare capital gains tax reports, inheritance tax planning, and support business sales.
  • Represent the firm at networking events and adhere to ethical standards and anti-money laundering laws.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accountancy practice.
  • AAT or ATT qualified with current membership.
  • Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software.
  • Practice accounting experience preferred.
