Department: Health and Social Care

Sanctuary Supported Living is seeking a suitably qualified Maintenance Team Assistant to join our team at Baird Lodge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking site repairs and maintenance duties efficiently to achieve positive outcomes. They will also identify potential maintenance issues and liaise with contractors as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake site repairs and maintenance duties.
  2. Identify potential maintenance issues and liaise with contractors.
  3. Carry out planned routine works such as decorating.
  4. Assist in scheduled building checks and audits.
  5. Serve as the point of contact for contractors on site.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a maintenance or caretaker background is essential.
  2. Experience in manual handling and operating hand tools and light machinery.
  3. Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
  4. Computer literate in basic Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  5. Desirable: a full valid driving licence.
