Job Summary

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry to join our team. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, leading a team of dental professionals, and contributing to the development of our paediatric dentistry services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, working in a state-of-the-art facility. As a Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist oral health care services for paediatric patients
  • Leading a team of dental professionals, including junior dentists and dental nurses
  • Developing and implementing clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Participating in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to the development of our paediatric dentistry services, including service planning and commissioning
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility for full UK GDC registration and a Licence to Practise
  • On GDC Specialist List in Paediatric Dentistry or within six months of attaining CCST
  • Possession of a Certificate of Accreditation or eligibility for a CCST in Paediatric Dentistry
