Job Title: Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant in Paediatric Dentistry to join our team at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality specialist oral health care services for paediatric patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with complex paediatric dental needs
  • Participate in clinical and service activities to ensure high standards of patient care
  • Develop and maintain clinical guidelines and protocols for paediatric dental care
  • Contribute to the development and management of clinical services
  • Provide education and training to junior staff and postgraduates
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Eligibility for full UK GDC registration and a Licence to Practise
  • On GDC Specialist List in Paediatric Dentistry or within six months of attaining CCST
  • Successful completion of an SAC-approved 2-year minimum training programme in Paediatric Dentistry
