We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Production Editor to join our team in Oxford. As a key member of our editorial team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production stages of digital and print components of English language teaching and learning materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with in-house and offshore digital developers to ensure digital components are developed in line with briefing documents and delivered on schedule
- Check and feedback on the key stages of the development of digital and print course components and content
- Provide updates on production schedules for assigned print and digital components
- Lead and coordinate production schedules, resourcing and delivery of appropriate projects
- Create briefs for and oversee the work of freelance editors and suppliers
- Negotiate terms with the freelance production editors in line with the project budget
