Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Youth Worker to join our team, responsible for driving one of our buses to and from projects. The successful candidate will work closely with our Youth Work Manager - Outreach and area-based Senior Youth Workers to deliver our programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive one of our buses to and from projects, ensuring safe and timely transportation of young people and staff.
  • Work closely with the Youth Work Manager - Outreach and area-based Senior Youth Workers to deliver our programs and services.
  • Provide holistic support to young people, addressing their educational, social, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement programs that promote positive youth development.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in youth work, with experience working with young people in a similar context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, staff, and stakeholders.
  • A valid driving license and ability to drive a large vehicle.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Location

The successful candidate will be based in one of two locations: South East (Lewisham and Greenwich) or East (Hackney, Tower Hamlets, and Newham).
