Donard Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Assessor to join our team in Coventry, West Midlands. As a multi-skilled professional, you will play a crucial role in assessing the health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, providing unbiased and comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP).

Salary: The estimated salary for this position ranges from £38,500 to £41,500 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you may be eligible for a 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality & retention bonus.

Job Description:

As a Nurse Assessor, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR).
  2. Assessing the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting claimants, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
  3. Managing caseloads from end to end, ensuring timely and efficient processing of claims.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  1. A valid registration as a Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic with NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with claimants, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
