We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our client, a family-run business, in a rural location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of annual financial accounts for external accountants.
- Preparation of quarterly (moving to monthly in future) management accounts, on Xero Accounting system, with WIP provided by Directors (to be led by Finance Manager).
- Bank reconciliation.
- Nominal ledger and journals.
- Credit control & aged debtors: issue of monthly statements, monitoring creditors against agreed limits, chasing aged debtors when required.
- Purchase ledger and supplier payments: reconcile statements, Xero Payroll Process hours, Sub-contractor payments - CIS.
- Developing and monitoring budgets for departments.
Requirements:
- Office based, with a driving license and a car necessary due to the rural location.
- A competitive salary.
