Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Risk Manager to provide leadership to risk management within a local SZC programme/similar, compliance with SZC's PMO risk management direction, and genuinely helps safeguard the programme area from major overruns. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership capabilities, motivational skills, delegation, team management, and team membership, as well as strong collaboration and peer-to-peer relationship-building skills.
  • Linked capability to integrate/support breadth of project controls/project delivery/business support processes (e.g., Finance).
  • Demonstrable use of numerical and verbal communication skills within a business environment.
  • Membership of one or more risk or project management organisation e.g.
  • Understanding of scheduling methodologies in project/programme management, including hands-on experience of leading software packages (Oracle P6/Microsoft Project or similar planning tools).

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing large data models (QSRA/QCRA etc) and their integration into decision-making processes, as well as an understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and standards.
